The Team Windcraft Moody 45 is in Melbourne for the Melbourne Boat Show and took the opportunity to take part in the Skandia Geelong Race series. Not really a race boat but she finished 16 out of 52 in her division. Brief comments from the skipper Peter Hrones below and some photos and more info will be posted soon. Wind range 15 to 25 knots short steep 1 to 1.5m waves. The Moody got the gun start boat end. All upwind sailing with a total 32 miles. 5 crew on board Team Windcrafts Moody 45DS.

The Moody was talked about a lot through the club with 450 boats competing and 130 boats in our division. We were surprised how quick the Moody sailed beating a lot of faster race boats with black sails including Dufour 40, Beneteau First 44.7 and 47.7.
